Morphe's new cosmetics collection celebrates LGBTQ+ Pride
Although Pride celebrations across the world will be different this year due to the Covid-19 pandemic, Morphe have introduced their Free To Be Collection of vibrant cosmetics to celebrate their Pride celebration from May to July.
The limited edition collection, available until the end of July or until stocks last, has been created to help shape a brighter future for the LGBTQ+ community. In fact, 100% of net profits from the sales of Morphe's Free To Be Collection made online or in Morphe stores during this time – a minimum of $50,000 – will be donated to GLSEN, a New York-based non-profit organisation that works to create safe and supportive school environments for LGBTQ+ students aged from Kindergarten to 12th Grade.
The Morphe Free To Be Collection includes a 10G GLSEN Up Artistry Palette of 10 vivid shades; Lip Gloss in holographic rainbow sparkle shade, Speak Out; Set To Inspire Continuous Setting Mist; and the A Better Whirled 6-piece Brush Collection including an All-Over Lid Brush, Oval Camouflage Brush, Pro Firm Blending Brush, Pointed Pro Blender Brush, Small Chisel Detail Brush, and Detail Liner Brush.
Morphe have appointed a Student Squad of individuals from the LGBTQ+ community to help promote the new collection. This includes P Grant, a Massachusetts-based transgender activist; Soli Guzman, an aspiring engineer involved with GLSEN since 2017 speaking up for LGBTQ+ youth, immigrants, and disability justice; Selene Jeffers, a cheerleader and aspiring paediatrician, and advocate for LGBTQ+ inside and outside of the community; El Martinez, who worked with the Massachusetts legislature to introduce a bill creating gender-neutral designations on state documents; Chris Li, a New York-based athlete who encourages a culture of inclusivity by standing up for trans youth and people of colour; Elle Smith who founded the Central Texas GSA (Gay-Straight Alliances) Coalition to support LGBTQ+ teens; and Jessica Chiriboga, a Latinx student leader and policy liaison for GLSEN and Vice President of her school's GSA.
Morphe's Free To Be Collection is available from 28th May.
